During the past thirty-five years, developments in computer-related technology have been providing increasingly more sophisticated simulation alternatives for training for both law enforcement officers and military personnel. Now private sector training providers seek to address the challenges of training for high-risk hostile environments. 

The Force Science Institute has confirmed something that many organisations have known for many years, force-on-force training is significantly superior to traditional firearms practice on targets in several important ways:-   

1.  Scenarios that enable ‘suspects’ to shoot at the individuals undergoing training generally stimulate a stronger physiological stress reaction in those individuals. 
2. Induced stress from such training can show to what degree an individual’s shooting accuracy is likely to suffer in an actual engagement.  
3. The prospect of ‘return fire’, more strongly motivates individuals to take training seriously.
4. Simulating scenarios to practice different actions and responses that are required in real-life situations is highly effective for knowledge retention.  
5. Simulated training is a proven tool to improve learning, encourage experimentation, and accept mistakes which is essential in the context of learning.      

70% higher learning retention rate is gained from simulated training.

Pistol Training in the UK

Due to strict UK firearms regulations, you cannot carry out 9mm pistol training outside of the police or military. Tactical Simulations bridge the gap between strict UK laws and training needed by way of our military-grade simulation system.
